What a beautiful day it has been! I love it when it is not too hot and the sky is so blue and the trees are so green! Candy for the eyes!
The concert was great! I didn't get any pictures to turn out though. Saturday I spent most of the day outside with my husband cleaning up our front porch. The deck looks nice now and I have a canopy up to sit under. This afternoon I had tea out there. It was lovely.
Sunday I was tired and so I just knitted and crocheted.
Today I tried to get our life back in order after the last several months. We spent time this morning cleaning the laundry room/basement. We got math, language arts, Awana, geography, and reading out loud done. We also went for a walk after lunch. This afternoon I altered a skirt and pair of pants for a customer. Then I put together the strips for my new bag. Tomorrow I hope to quilt them. I am so excited about this project. I think I needed a new project to inspire me. I love the world of blogs, because I have gotten so much inspiration from so many people!

It really was beautiful today. Just right. In fact, earlier this morning I was thinking "oh good, I can mow" and then I remembered that I finished Saturday night. yay! lol so I did a little (and I do mean a little) weeding. I've been crocheting, too...dishclothes. Glad the concert went well. I was thinking about you..tempted to show up. lol
Can't wait to see the new bag. :)
dishclothes? dish cloths? hmmmm...it must be late.
I LOVE those bags! I have seen them on some of the craft blogs and I just think they are wonderful! Are they easy? Any tips on making them?
LOL, Randi I am just trying to figure it out. You need 16 3 inch by 11 inch tapered strips. They went together pretty easy. I ironed a stiff stabilizer on after piecing them because I read some where some one having problems stabilizing them. I was going to use a warm and natural next to quilt them. I will keep you updated.
