If you go to http://www.lovetocrochetandknit.blogspot.com/ you will see Tammy's idea about showing your aprons. I don't have any vintage aprons. I only have the ones I have made. I have about 4 I have made myself. I started wearing aprons a couple of years ago when a friend gave me one as a present. I have only made bib aprons. After reading on Tammy's blog, I was going through my fabric and found a neat fruit print that looked vintage. I also found some yellow gingham I wanted to use. I put them together with the lace I made and came up with...
My surprise. I look at the fabric now and think I would like to try a waist apron out of it. I don't have any more yellow gingham, but I do have blue, green, and red.
Here is a close up of the lace on the top.
This is a close up of the lace on the bottom. I haven't got the hang of getting the pictures all the same light.

...I'm happy that you dropped by...your apron is very nice...the close-up photograph helps to show off how pretty it really is...
I love that lace details. Cute fabric.
Oh that is so pretty Cindi! You made that lace? As in crocheted it? Ok, woman, we've got some talkin' to do. Dishcloths are nice, but...lace!!!!
Oh, this is pretty! I love the fabric! May I add this to my Show and Tell?
Great apron!
Very cute apron. Love the details.
The fabric LOOKS vintage - you could just call it your vintage-y apron! The lace is beautiful, and I think red or blue gingham would look great with the fruity fabric for a waist apron. Great job.
Oh duh. How did I miss that you machine embroidered that? It's so pretty. I'm going to need one of those machines one of these days. ;)
Cindy I am so happy to read about your surprise!!! Give me the details later!!!!!
That is very dainty! Yay!
You did a great job on it!
