I am sorry I have been absent a few days. It is just very busy around here right now. I have done a little sewing, but, not much. I embroidered two sweat shirts and two t-shirts for some one. I went to a Bernina Club meeting today. I got a new Criswell CD. It has been out a while, but, I just saw it today and decided I needed it. I got the Flexible trims k-lace sampler. I have been crocheting the edging for the baby blanket and knitting a pair of socks for Captain Kitty. I tried to make the continuous bias binding the other night and did something wrong and it flopped. I cut out the pattern to make myself a new wallet. I made my last one and love it, but, it is tie dye and doesn't go with the new bag. I hope to get some sewing in this weekend, but, the younger children are going to an all nighter and the General and I have to run up to my folks to pick up a chair my Momma is giving us. Then Captain Cool has to paint for some one Saturday and I need to visit the store! His Drivers Ed classes every morning are killing my days. I get up and take him and then have to pick him back up in a couple of hours. That's 80 minutes of driving a day for me. It will make my life a lot better when it is finished because then I don't have to play chauffer.

The yarn I using to knit the socks is a varigated and some times a blue and yellow come together while knitting. This has spurred the idea in my head of making a blue and yellow quilted bag. I hope to start one soon. I still have lots of customer work to do and more coming, but, I need to do some creative things also.

Sew Long for Now.

Wow! I am always amazed by how much sewing you get done. I would consider any one of your projects..like... oh I don't know..I'd feel good if I got them done in a week or month. You are always churning stuff out.

Where (if you don't mind saying generally) is Captain Cool taking driver's ed? That will be a big help to you in the long run, I'm sure.

I just got back from a meeting and I'm about to fall asleep, so I think I'm going to have to cut my blogging short tonight.

Congrats on the Murphy's Oil Soap. lol

Wow - no apologies necessary! Kids take a huge chunk out of my sewing/crafting time, that's for sure! And you have so much on your plate right now! I haven't posted in a few days as well - lots of family in an out in addition to the normal everyday. I hope you find some time to rest up in the midst of all the busy-ness!

I think a blue/yellow quilted bag would be lovely. And also lime green is a popular color these days for a bag. I'm still partial to the purples.

Reading this post got me all out of breath. You sound like you have a lot going on.

Thanks for the sock input on my blog :)

You ladies are so nice! I have been thinking how age and health have made me so much less productive than I used to be. Lisa, drivers ed is at VWCC. We live almost in Salem. The course is great, they get the classroom over in 9 days and then 7 sessions finishes the behind the wheel. The have it in the next summer short session if you are interested. It is about the same cost as everywhere else. We needed to do it this way for the time factor and to fit it in CC's busy schedule. He could have already had his license, but, kept putting it off because he had to be some where or do something during class time.

Thanks Cindi, we just might look into that one for Caleb and Nick. I wondered why it took you so long to get to Vinton. Now it makes sense. :)
