This is a cosmetic bag I made for the lady I recently made the bag for. I have noticed a lot of people starting to make little change purses on the web.
I took a picture of the zipper to show another way to do a zipper that may help. If you attach a piece of material 3 inches long and the same width of the zipper to each end of the zipper it really helps make better corners when you flip.

I am hoping to cut a new skirt for myself today. The General and Captain Cool have gone to VMI for a college visit. I am still battling this cold. I feel a bit better, no longer soar throat and head ache. Now I am just stuffy and tired. I started taking Emergen-C. I just want more energy! I feel guilty not get things done.

Sew Long for Now!

I have in my sewing career put in 3 zippers total, and one was just last week! I think I can understand how adding extra length helps with the turning result. Thanks for the tip!

Oh, I wish you could feel better! There's nothing worse than a cold that just hangs on and on, not enough for you to stop, but not so little that you can keep going with the same measure of energy!
Don't feel guilty - resting will be the key to finally shaking that cold! :)
